To build and maintain large-scale digital platforms, companies routinely harvest user behavior, build psychological profiles, and sell that attention to the highest bidder. When building digital tools for traditional and offline-first communities, this extractive model is a non-starter. These groups reject data surveillance and refuse to engage with platforms designed to exploit their attention.

Directory listings for local businesses are completely free — our sustainability is tied to community support and concrete utility, never to impression counts or paid placement.
  • Absolute privacy by design: As a non-profit, our data-retention policies are strictly protective. We maintain only the minimal operational data required to execute SMS logic through services like Twilio. There are no tracking pixels, no behavioral profiling, and zero data sharing with third-party brokers.

A New Paradigm for Tech Development
