In Israel, the Central Bureau of Statistics projects the Haredi population will reach 2 million people by 2033 and represent 24% of the total Israeli population by 2050. In the United States, where Haredi communities in Brooklyn, Lakewood, and Monsey already represent the fastest-growing Jewish demographic, the trend is similar.
This means the base of kosher phone users will roughly double within the next fifteen to twenty years, without any change in behavior or adoption rates. The market grows simply because the community grows.
By 2040, one in five Jews worldwide will be Haredi. Today it is one in seven. The direction of travel is clear.

More significantly, the rabbinic authorities who govern these communities have not softened their position on uncertified smartphones. If anything, the documented evidence of smartphone addiction, its mental health consequences, and its social costs has strengthened the case for managed, filtered devices. The communities that built the kosher phone ecosystem two decades ago have been vindicated by the research that has emerged since.

Perhaps the most surprising development in the kosher phone story is that the rest of the world is beginning to ask the same questions that Haredi communities answered twenty years ago.

The CEO of KosherCell Inc., a kosher phone company based in Lakewood, NJ, noted in a 2025 interview that 30 to 40 percent of his customers are not Jewish. They are simply people who want what the Haredi community designed the kosher phone to provide: connectivity without addiction.
