About Connect2Kehilla
Two organizations. One mission. Serving Jewish communities through SMS.
How we're structured
Connect2Kehilla is the public name of a partnership between two affiliated but legally distinct organizations. Each serves a different purpose, with a different funding model — together they deliver one seamless experience to community members.
Connect2Kehilla LLC
Operates the business directory and commercial services — paid business listings, premium placements, lead tracking, and advertising tools used by 17,000+ kosher businesses across the tri-state area.
Funding: Subscription tiers paid by businesses.
See business services →Education on the Go Corp
A registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit operating the community-benefit services — free emergency alerts, kosher directory lookups, religious calendar info, minyan finder, gemach listings, and mazel tov announcements.
EIN: 92-1172505
Funding: Tax-deductible donations, grants, community partnerships.
See community services →Why two entities? Many community technology projects mix commercial and charitable activities under one roof — which creates accounting confusion and IRS compliance risk. By keeping commercial services in an LLC and public-benefit services in a 501(c)(3), we maintain clean separation: business revenue stays commercial, donations stay tax-deductible, and there's no commingling of funds.
Our community mission
Education on the Go Corp's mission is to provide free, accessible community information services to Jewish community members — particularly those who rely on filtered "kosher" phones and have no access to internet, apps, or modern communication tools.
For these residents, SMS is not a convenience — it's their only channel. They can't join WhatsApp groups, read Instagram stories, or open emails. Yet they need the same information their neighbors do: emergency alerts, where to find a kosher dentist, when minyan starts, halachic zmanim for Shabbos, who's sitting shiva nearby.
Education on the Go Corp closes this gap by operating the world's first SMS-based community information service designed specifically for kosher phones. Free for residents. Funded by community support.
Our team
Connect2Kehilla is led by community members committed to serving Jewish communities with respect, halachic integrity, and operational excellence.
